Meaning of being Attitude...
ok... quite alot to blog todae... 3 topic to go... first of all, something that I had learnt... haha... during my lecture...
I daydreamed I think... then i derive this conclusion and wrote it on my textbook... a few days during my revision of exam, I saw it, but didn't have time to blog it down... Now is the time!
How do ppl define ppl as AP? well, I guess, ppl are assume being AP when they dun follow the general idea... meaning if everyone thinks that doing this way is the correct way, if you did the other way you are having AP... e.g. taking a elevator, keep to the left... if you happen to see a ah beng on the right, he's AP... not too good e.g... ehhh.... can't remember the good example i thou of during the lecture... the best I can think of now is... in a fine dinning restaurant, an ah peh eat very violently, with the sipping sound... holding the chicken with his bare hand... most ppl in the restaurant will think that he's uncivilise and having some AP... another one... this should be good enough... everyone thinks that studying is important, if a person(sec sch boy) would to skip school due to some other personal involvement/ problem... ppl(teachers) thinks that he's AP student, hack caring his result and do some "unimportant" things (queue up for his favorite idol concert ticket)... To that boy, obtaining the concert ticket is the most important thing in the whole world, it's nothing wrong about it... but to the teachers and many others, it's definately not right if he's going to skip sch for this kind of "unimportant" events...
more and more example comes into my mind... everyone thinks that starting a war is ridicious! there's no reason for a country to declare war with another country... the president of America must be having some serious AP... but to him, he declared a war with the terrorists not the country... if he didn't have done that... terror will spread across the land.... terrorist will be more daring and start more and more bombing across the whole world... (anyway, i dun really like the idea of USA attacking ira, they seems to be more interested in the oil too... =p)
another defination of a good attitude was to do the right things at the right time... by doing the right things at the wrong time is bad attitude... BUT! define right from wrong? to many ppl, ppl that are doing the right thing (it's alright to slp) at the wrong time(during class) are AP ppl... but maybe that person need to slp coz at night he/she is taking care of his/her sick parents or something... to some: alright, since he/she needs to take care of his/her parents at night... it's the right time to slp in the morning... but is it really right to slp in class? so, how to we define right time? again, if everyone thinks that the time is right, then it's right, if someone would to say the time(opposite from everyone) is right, then he/she is having AP!
CONCLUSION: Attitude was just an acceptability of the general party... Everyone thinks that it is correct, then it is correct. If you dun believe it or do it, then you are having AP!
so, someone in the early early century thinks that the earth is round... everyone laugh at him and thinks that he's crazy and having some dead serious AP to think the world is round... but in the end, who's stupid and is he really having some AP?
haha... back to reality, for e.g. lawrance sir, he dyed his hair... to many ppl in HQ, they think that they are rebelance and irresponsible... to be unable to lead by example... is he really AP? or maybe he had understood a thinking, a concept... that most of us can't understand or dun wish to believe in... and follow the general thinking, that VI should not dye their hair... haha... this blog must be generating everyone that reads it to at least think abit ar? a NEW GP topic to talk about!!!
if you were to ask me, I find it ok for VI to dye hair... hehe... there's totally nothing wrong to dye your hair even if you're a VI? if you were to say dying hair will give the cadet a bad impression... so are you saying ppl that have colored hair are bad ppl? ppl with black colored hair are the good ppl, while the ang moh are all the bad ppl la?!? haha... if that's the case, then everyone should be able to agree that ppl that smoke are oso ah beng and ah lian? but how do you explain some governers that smoke, they are the corrupted governers and should be expel from their post?
haha... So... Who's the person to decide whether it's right from wrong? you?!? me?!? or the general party?!?
