Goals In Life
It's weird indeed. That I'll like to set my goal in life all of a sudden. Maybe
it's the influence of my friends, that life is required to be planned ahead. I use
to believe that life have too many uncertainty as one would just die any day. I also believe
that things and people around you changes everyday, so as your goal in life. Therefore,
I never consisted thinking too far ahead. But, after further thinking, why not just
assume that life have no tripping stones, and plan ahead! I'll not lost anything
anyway...

The Relationship Assessment Test
Lim, your relationship is more likely to last if you and your partner improve how you resolve conflict.
Sure there's a degree of conflict in every relationship; it may arise from different upbringings, views on life, or different personalities. But when you have too much conflict, disagreement, or opposition in your relationship, and don't have good tools to resolve it, it can start to undermine the bonds until they are irreparably damaged.
One thing in particular that may be causing — or might cause — future problems in your relationship, is your level of contempt. Contempt arises from an overdose of criticism. By being too critical, you may be hurting your partner personally and weakening the bonds of the relationship. Couples who are able to give feedback constructively tend to have a more successful relationship because they aren't weakened by their partner's comments. If you can find out the underlying cause of your critical nature, you will likely be on track to finding the full potential and joy of a committed relationship.
